Robert L. "Rob" Stovall was born and raised in the Appalachian foothills of northeast Georgia.  He made a profession of faith in a Southern Baptist congregation at the age of nine, and sensed a call to gospel ministry at during his adolescent years.  Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies/Languages from Toccoa Falls College in 1995 and went on to do seminary work at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, graduating with an M.Div. from the latter institution in 2000.   Rob is committed to biblical, expository preaching, working chapter by chapter through a particular book of the Bible.    

Michael A. "Mike" Myers and his family joined Providence Baptist Church in 2005, and was set apart to serve as an elder shortly thereafter.  In addition to reading Scripture during Lord's Day services, Mike often teaches the congregation during our midweek meetings, and occasionally preaches the communion serman during our Lord's Table observances.  Mike is the operations manager for a local packaging firm, Supply One.  He has been married to Rose for twenty-five years, and they have been blessed with two daughters: Kristen and Melissa.
